So what did we end up doing??? While it was still dark and stormy outside, the kids watched a movie...while Damon and I cleaned!!! Yeah...I know...SO EXCITING huh!?! For me (nesting and all), it was wonderful! We cleared out the "cluttered part" of our pantry, the office, and mopped the floors. Then, the slushy rain and hail stopped and the day actually turned out a little nicer than we anticipated. Damon was able to mow the grass and play with the kids. Yep...they all felt fine by the early afternoon! And...Yes...they're wearing their SNOW COATS!!! It's a little too early for that, but very necessary. They played a little soccer and Damon threw around the football with Micah. The kids were in heaven!!! They LOVE having Daddy home!
Where was Colton??? He was off in his own little world POOPING and PEEING on the office deck!!! Neither of us had any idea until Bria brought it to our attention. It was hilarious getting video of Damon cleaning up the mess:) Makes me laugh just thinking about it!!!
This evening we just hung out and had a wonderful dinner with Damon's parents. The joys of relaxing:) Happy Labor Day!!!

We did the same thing today except greg put the wood floor in kitchen and I cleaned. Yes, I said wood floor in the kitchen no more subfloor.

Sometimes those types of days are the best. We tried to go to a movie (along with the rest of the world!), but the lines were so long that we decided that we didn't want to fight the crowds.
